85+ Years of Building Science

Owens Corning was founded in 1938 through the combination of Corning Glass Works and Owens-Illinois Glass Company, with the shared goal of commercializing fiberglass technology for insulation applications. The Pink Panther partnership — beginning in 1980 — transformed PINK FIBERGLAS™ insulation into one of the most recognized product identities in the building industry.

Today, Owens Corning operates manufacturing facilities in 31+ countries, serves residential and commercial markets across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, and maintains approximately 25,000 employees worldwide.
